This video was put together to help anyone with a Pacific Plus self-steering mechanism that has seized due to non-use. We’d left ours open to the elements of monsoon south India and had not used it for 18 months. Consequently the Teflon bearings has seized. Thanks to Bryan Thurlow of BVTEE in Cochin we were able to build a bracket to break it free. Included on the corresponding web page is a schematic/drawing plan of the piece, should you need it.
