OM-D EM5 m43 + Legacy Olympus OM 50mm f/1.8 – lens adaptor movie – handheld – FTB Extra

This is a small sample of what an Olympus OM Zuiko legacy lens can look like on a micro four thirds (m43) camera, specifically the OM-D EM5 Mk 1 with a standard prime (not macro). All shots are handheld and manually focused via the EVF (no focus peaking). I’m not sure how old the lens is, around 20 years perhaps. Most of this is shot at ISO 200 though I moved it up for some of the darker shots, which is why you can see pixelation here and there.

I’ve been playing with a couple of legacy lenses, including the Canon 24mm FD, which is a treat. However the Olympus legacy lenses are smaller and easier to handle. I’m going to attempt to declick them next, though I’m having trouble taking the front ring off.
