Is off-grid mooring the last freedom? (Life on the riverbank) | Ep 398
May 15, 2025 by followtheboat | Language: EN Play Time: 00:19:56 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

One of the last places you’ll find genuine freedom in the UK is off-grid mooring on the canals and rivers. And if you choose a secluded spot like the winding hole on the Keadby and Stainforth canal, you can escape the rat-race and slow down to immerse yourself in nature.
With huge thanks to Vanessa of the @themindfulnarrowboat who we met the other day and who encouraged us to enjoy the waterways here and to keep learning about nature. We had already edited this post, but after chatting to Vanessa hope to learn as we go, and continue to record what we see in our videos. Thanks, V, you’re a star! 🤟
