How to repair and service a watermaker on a sailboat. Sailing Q&A 4
January 23, 2017 by followtheboat | Language: EN Play Time: 00:12:06 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

A watermaker is one of the most useful bits of kit for anyone living on the sea. It provides independence and a supply of water that allows you to break the ties from land. This is the fourth in our series of daily questions and in this one we discuss watermakers. What are they? How do they work? Also we strip one down and replace part of the mechanism in a Schenker 35. Normally we’re online when we publish these videos so we can answer your questions live, but this one is scheduled to go out at 2am our time! No doubt Liz will be awake at 5am so please bear with us – we’ll do our best to answer you as quickly as possible!
