s/y Esper has now left the shipyard after a year’s refit. For a week Liz, Jamie and Millie the Cat do absolutely nothing, but there’s no hiding from the remaining jobs. Eventually Jamie goes up the mast to investigate a halyard wrap problem, which offers a great perspective of Esper’s new, clean deck and Bass Harbour anchorage first thing in the morning.
The Esper crew take on another job that should have taken an hour. Instead it takes ten. The lesson learnt? There is no such thing as a simple job on a boat. Oh, and keep an eye on those tides!
The video finishes with Millie dreaming of a little round-the-boat perspective.
