How to cross borders on a sailboat. It’s one of the BIGGEST topics we get asked about. So how do you check-in on a boat or know where to go? And how long can you stay for? We have the answers!

In a nutshell? Crossing the border by sailboat for you is the same as arriving by air or road, but (like everything to do with cruising) it takes a little longer checking your boat in and out.
We cleared out of Indonesia recently and filmed the whole process. So watch till the end and see exactly how clearance works from start to finish.
