Welcome back to Finding Our Isla.

From fixing our steering cable and unclogging the toilet… to provisioning the boat, homeschooling, laundry days, and exploring the beautiful island of Martinique — life onboard definitely keeps us busy.
We explore stunning beaches, enjoy incredible French bakeries, snorkel crystal-clear water, and finally get some much-needed downtime after weeks of rough sailing.
But in true boat life fashion… things don’t exactly go according to plan.
During one of our adventures, we accidentally hit bottom with our dinghy engine and quickly learned another lesson about navigating shallow Caribbean waters.
Through all the repairs, storms, breakdowns, and unexpected challenges, one thing continues to stand out:
