Sailing Blind | Season 1, Episode 8
In this episode, we leave Le Marin and continue sailing north toward beautiful Saint-Pierre.
What started as one of our most peaceful and enjoyable sails yet quickly changed when we suddenly lost critical electronics onboard Isla.
Our charts, depth readings, wind instruments, and navigation systems all stopped working as we approached the anchorage.
Thankfully, the clear Caribbean water helped us safely navigate our way in and drop anchor in St. Pierre.
While troubleshooting the issue, we spent time exploring this historic town, snorkeling with sea turtles, discovering local markets, and enjoying some unforgettable family moments in the water.
Kasey and Ashton worked tirelessly to solve the electronics problem, eventually leading them back to Le Marin where they uncovered the real issue — a hidden blown fuse.
This episode captures the highs, lows, learning moments, and unforgettable experiences that come with full time sailing life in the Caribbean.
From dolphins alongside the boat… to towing the kids behind the dinghy at sunset… this became one of those chapters we know we’ll remember forever.
