After weeks of battling Christmas winds, rough anchorages, and learning how to sail our Lagoon 450, we finally arrived in Saint Martin — the cruiser "Promised Land."
And then we spent $12,870.66. 😳
In this episode, we're transforming Isla from a bare-bones boat into a true home for our family of six. We tackle a massive provisioning run, install new safety nets from Sunrise Yacht Products, upgrade our dinghy engine, wrestle a full-size washing machine onboard (after forgetting to measure the hallway 🤦♀️), upgrade our galley, add mattress toppers, and finally enjoy some of the comforts we'd been dreaming about for months.
