Five souls, one boat, and today marks day 8 of our Atlantic crossing. We still have an estimated 11 days to go before reaching the other side, where Ayanna’s newly purchased boat is waiting for her.

Today was… a big one.
We’re sailing through 15–16ft waves with 30–35 knot winds, lost our drogue overnight, and spent the day being launched across the cabin by waves that just would not quit. Pickle juice everywhere, flying fruit, bruised hips, and somehow still laughing through it all. Eva is handling it like a champ, the dogs are unfazed, and the boat keeps charging forward.
