Vatrer LiFePO4 Upgrade = All Electric Cooking on Our Sailboat! | DrakeParagon Sailing
We’re going full electric in the galley aboard S/V Paragon! In this video, I replace two of our aging AGM batteries with two 300Ah Vatrer LiFePO4 batteries—for a total of 600Ah of reliable, high-performance lithium power.
I take you step-by-step through the installation, show how we’re now charging the batteries with our 2100W solar array, and demonstrate how we use that clean energy to power a 3000W inverter that runs our electric cooking appliances—completely eliminating our propane stove!
If you’re considering going electric on your boat, van, or off-grid cabin, this is a real-world look at what it takes, and how Vatrer’s LiFePO4 batteries are helping us live safer, cleaner, and more sustainably at sea.
