Pressure Canning. Doesn’t sound like much, but it was a total game changer for us. Being able to can our own meat and store it WITHOUT REFRIGERATION literally changed how we cruised. Suddenly it didn’t matter if we lost refrigeration or that our freezer wasn’t large. We could wait for meat to go on sale, buy a bunch, and can it all which saved us a ton of money. Plus we knew exactly what was in our canned meats…just meat. No fillers or other additives. Healthy, economical, and space saving. What’s not to love!
