Thank you to viewer John who pointed out our error at minute 1:23 about the maximum speed fuel consumption of an oil platform supply vessel. The data sheet we have says that economy speed fuel consumption is 14t @ 10 kn per 24 hours, and maximum speed fuel consumption is 20t @ 14 knots per 24 hours. Our calculation at max speed 28t = 800 US gallons per 24 hours, not 1085 gallons as shown in the video. We strive to make sure that all of the information in these videos is correct, however we do occasionally make mistakes. Many thanks again to John for pointing that out and allowing us to correct it.
