Sailing Transatlantic on a Catamaran

Join us aboard the Bluewater 50 catamaran, “Zao”, for an offshore passage across the Atlantic! We and a crew of sailing writers and videographers move aboard this luxurious catamaran in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, in the Canary Islands and begin a 3,000-mile transatlantic crossing to the Caribbean. In this episode, we prepare the boat in Las Palmas, then set sail on a magical voyage across the Atlantic Ocean. It is our 8th crossing but the first one that we’ve ever done on a multi-hull. Follow this series to see what crossing an ocean is like aboard a catamaran.
