Sailing a 50′ Catamaran across the Atlantic and What I Learned. I’m a guest speaker at NSC. Ep117.

I was asked to be a guest speaker at my old sailing club (The Nepean Sailing Club) to talk about my Transatlantic Sailing voyage on a 50′ Catamaran. It took 22 days to cross the Ocean and I will show you, through video clips taken from the 12 episodes I created for the passage, what I experienced and what I learned.

I have posted the entire presentation here, with all the videos presented overlaid, for those that don’t live in Ottawa or were not able to make it.

In this presentation, I will explain: (and the start times in the video)
– How the enjoyment of sailing often comes from the social interactions and friends you gain along the way (Start)
– How the Cruising Off Duty Channel started. (2:20)
– The different chapters in our sailing lives. (5:30)
