After sailing around the world on an AMEL Super Maramu, I never thought I’d get handed the keys to another one. Then Mike, one of our board members at Ebb & Flow, donated his 1998 Amel Super Maramu, SV Kalos, to our nonprofit.
In this episode I head to Annapolis to see her for the first time, we get every system up and running, and we announce that Kalos is for sale. 100% of the net proceeds go to Ebb & Flow’s therapeutic sailing programs. I sit down with Mike to hear why he gave her away, and we spend some real time on what Ebb & Flow does. We’re not therapists, that’s the point. The water does the work.
