Hi Everybody – We are a couple sailing around the world on our catamaran IMPI. Having left south Africa many years ago now, we are sailing the islands of New Caledonia in this video, and particularly exploring the Southern Lagoon Islands – this is EP 3 of the Southern Lagoon series.
We depart Kouare island, sailing past UA island, Uatermebi and we anchor in MATO ISLAND where we do some exploring to look down on the beautiful reef surrounded anchorage.
Following requests from viewers we include some technical chat around our use of wind instruments and show Impi sailing close to the wind in light airs.

The sea makes us feel free, so we followed the dream to move home from our farm in South Africa to a sailing vessel, a catamaran we call IMPI - and IMPI has been our floating home covering much of the globe over the past 10 years sailing full time. We are about INSPIRATION AND POSITIVE VIBES and much of what we do and share is about YOU, the viewers - OUR MISSION to interact with you all and make ourselves available to assist you as you make your dream become reality.
