IMPI is sailing around the world.
We left New Caledonia along with the Down Under Rally Group (John Hembrow) and arrived in Bundaberg, Australia.
Although we have not previously joined a rally group and enjoy sailing the oceans ‘solo’ – we could see the benefits in joining the Go West Rally – meeting up with many friends and making new friends all at the same time.
Bundaberg is a port of entry into Australia and a great place to stock up with supplies at Bundaberg Port Marina who transport one as part of the package into the main town.
During this period, we also got the sad news of the loss of one of our dearest friends – Raoul Albers – it feels desperate to be so far from home and at sea during these times.
