Ep.7 Jen gets to grips with stronger winds - Carl and Jenny
In this episode we pay another visit to our local sailing club and get out on the boat. The wind was blowing a steady force 3 with gusts up to 4 & 5. This was the strongest wind Jenny had helmed in but did a great job. We had 2 reefs in the main and reduced the jib using the roller reefing, it kept the boat nice and easy to handle without losing any speed, we still maintained around 5.5 knots. A great day and we still got to heave to and have a cup of tea 🙂
