Hard Sailing Sweden's East Coast | Knockdown off Öland | Ep 121
Sailing Sweden’s East Coast in the Baltic Sea can be beautiful — and brutally hard sailing! In this episode of Bushpoint Sailing, we’re tacking into 20 to 30 knots on the nose and next day a KNOCKDOWN! Drama hits on board — and if you’ve been following us, you know that’s a rarity! As the wind builds to 45 knots just off the coast of Öland, we experience a full knockdown that reminds us who’s really in charge out here. 🌊
With shaky legs and tired smiles, we finally tie up in Borgholm, Öland, just in time for Midsummer celebrations, and meet up with our friends from Sailing Vessel Zephyros.
During the sailing season we are filming lots, but editing will be saved for rainy days or winter downtime—so episodes will come out a bit less regularly.
