Some of the most important work on a home is the part you'll never see.
In this episode, we tackle one of our biggest infrastructure projects yet: building a French drain to protect the tiny house foundation from excess water. What started as a simple idea turned into over 90 feet of trenching by hand, laying landscape fabric, hauling rock, installing perforated pipe, drilling drainage holes, and carefully backfilling everything.
Building life on land and sea isn't just about the finished result—it's about solving problems, learning new skills, and enjoying the process along the way.
Thanks for following the journey. If you're enjoying the build, subscribe and come along for the next chapter.
