WHAT HAPPENED TO BUILDING SY MISTRESS? 😲 Ep.173 Building my steel sailing yacht
March 29, 2024 by Building SY Mistress | Language: EN Play Time: 00:22:50 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

About time that I online surfaced and came back to explain a few things!
MUCH GOING ON!
Ohh, and for those who had wondered and those who’d asked – No, I do not quit! 😁 ⛵
And for those who are not aware – times have changed A LOT, plus small channels like mine (and for the majority actually!) DO NOT MAKE MONEY worth mentioning from youtube ads, in fact it is LESS THAN a pittance! And the amounts received are about HALF of what they were ~2 years ago!
Patreon supporters make the difference and I HOPE that more people will understand this and be able to help through supporting. Thanks.
Mistress is designed by one of the highly respected Dutch naval architects E.G. Van de Stadt, a Caribbean design, length 40ft/12m, beam 13ft/3.9m, draft 5ft/1.5m. Her hull and decks are built in mild steel and I have built her on my own and am also fitting her out on my own. I have not built any type of boat before Mistress.
There were many reasons why, but the work stopped,…
However, the work has re-started, thankfully, and I am on an exciting journey to finish Mistress and then go on my sailing adventures,…
I hope that you can join along with me!
