MOVING ALONG to the start of the Electronics install!
I do another trip South to Brisbane and the Gold Coast collecting much of the Raymarine electronics equipment, a large paint etc. pickup from Marine Trade Supplies at the rather famous, "The Boat Works" as well as some other related places to do with the electronics install.
Then it is on to the rather involved - surprise, surprise - process of getting the DST transducer and it's cable positioned and installed!
Mistress is designed by one of the highly respected Dutch naval architects E.G. Van de Stadt, a Caribbean design, length 40ft/12m, beam 13ft/3.9m, draft 5ft/1.5m. Her hull and decks are built in mild steel and I have built her on my own and am also fitting her out on my own. I have not built any type of boat before Mistress.
There were many reasons why, but the work stopped,...
However, the work has re-started, thankfully, and I am on an exciting journey to finish Mistress and then go on my sailing adventures,...
I hope that you can join along with me!
