Canadian Ken and I were tipped off to what can only be described as a true barn find — a 1966 LeComte Northeast 38 MKII, owned by the same family for more than 20 years and now quietly coming to market.
And here’s the kicker…
Only 15 of these Mark II models were ever built.
Designed by legendary naval architect William H. Tripp Jr. and built in Holland by LeComte Yachts, the Northeast 38 represents a golden era of yacht design — where performance, craftsmanship, and beauty were expected to coexist. The perfect boat for the nostalgic mariner...
