We have a very exciting episode in store for you! This week, we FINALLY make it out to San Miguel Island, the furthest West of all the Channel Islands.

There’s some awesome sailing, followed by some very calm weather. Along the way, we get up close and personal with a couple of humpback whales who are hanging out right by our boat, then we pull into the most idyllic, calm harbor we’ve seen yet, Cuyler Harbor!

We enjoy the beach and calm water, and make our way to go visit the ranger, excited to do some hiking. However, we find out that the ranger is away, and we’ll have to wait a few days before exploring any further.
