THIS CRAZY MEXICO IDEA [Adventure #47]

Dinghy-less in a small Mexican town, we come up with the crazy idea of building our own boat! With no prior experience, very limited materials and nothing but the top of a septic tank to work on, we take the project head-on, improvising, jerry rigging and making it work!

With the help of my Dad, who is an expert carpenter and woodworker, we go about trying to find all the materials that we need, learning a whole slew of new Spanish words. Although it’s a tough project, we have a beautiful place to work in, right on the dock in Puerto San Carlos.
