HOMESTEADING ON A BOAT [Adventure #54]

Long-term cruising is all about being self-sufficient. While in port, we take the opportunity to learn how to can our own meat, make our pickled vegetables and do a few canvas sewing projects around the boat. These are things that will save us lots of money, and are important skills to have to sustain our lifestyle. Oh, and we also go on a dinghy rescue mission and retrieve Makara!
