Eaten Alive… or a close call at least! In this episode, join us as we drive back and forth across California for Ty to work, taking in the beautiful mountain views along the way. We stop at Donner Pass, a place with quite the interesting history… It was here that a group of pioneers became stranded for the winter, and was forced to resort to cannibalism, and later America’s first transcontinental highway and railroad passed through these amazing mountains. There’s some breathtaking views, but we are anxious to get back to Varuna and see how the repairs our broken bowsprit are going. We return to the boatyard to see the progress. So far, they have a mockup of the new anchor pulpit, custom built to fit our boat and our two anchors. We can’t wait to see it all put together again!
