ALONE ON AN ISLAND, INVADED BY A SPANISH GALLEON! [Adventure #31]

What’s like to be the only 2 people on an island? Well, we can tell you that it feels pretty amazing!

Join us as we set up camp as the only humans on San Miguel Island for the night. Here, we await the ranger’s arrival, and take in the beauty of the island.

And what do we spot out there on the horizon?? A full-rigged Spanish Galleon ship, sailing into the harbor. But it’s not just any ship…it’s the San Salvador, Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo’s ship, the first European to explore the West Coast of North America and “discoverer: of San Miguel Island!

The next day, we go on a hike across San Miguel with the ranger, learning about the habitat and a petrified forest along the way. Arriving at Point Bennett, we take in one of the largest Sea Lion rookeries in the world and watch young sea lions play on beach.
