Body Rafting in the Alcantara Gorges

Thanks to River Trekking and Body Rafting, you will enjoy a unique, fun, intense experience and all in maximum safety thanks to our river guide. You will begin your adventure with river trekking, you will follow a stretch of river that channels into a basalt gorge about 30 meters high, the result of millennia of erosion which led to the formation of these characteristic canyon paths. You will continue the tour between small waterfalls, rapids and rocky walls, but don’t worry, nothing difficult, you just need to have a lot of adventure spirit. You will reach the highlight of the route once you arrive at the “Cascata di Venere”, one of the most renowned destinations in the Alcantara Gorges, where legend has it that the Roman goddess Venus spent her days. Once the ascent of the river is over, you will return to the valley with an adrenaline-pumping Body Rafting adventure.

Additional Information

• Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
• We recommend arriving at the meeting point 30 minutes early. If the timing is not respected, participation in the tour will not be guaranteed.
• You will need to bring your bathing suit and beach towel with you
• The duration is approximately two hours, but can vary depending on the skills of the participants
• Children must have a minimum height of 1.50 cm
• Adults must be aged 55 or over. This activity is not suitable for people with recent operations or injuries to the upper or lower limbs.
