• The difficulty level of this excursion is considered to be moderate to strenuous depending on your physical fitness level. It is very important that you are in good physical condition in order to participate and enjoy yourself. The terrain in the rainforest can be muddy, slippery, uneven and include river-wading, climbing large rocks and steep inclines. This excursion is recommended for guests with an active lifestyle

• NOTE: Saturday's tour is longer (approximately 1 more hour) and more strenuous than Sunday – Friday. It's very important that you are able to comply with all of the tour restrictions, have a strong physical fitness level and are able to bring your knees up to your chest.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

This experience may be cancelled due to bad weather. This experience may be cancelled if there are not enough travelers.

Important Information

GUESTS MUST HAVE A RENTAL CAR (NO TAXI OR UBER!). Meet at "Frutera Flores" fruit stand in Luquillo. You cannot taxi or Uber to the departure location. Please allow sufficient time driving from San Juan (approx. 1 hr and 15 mins). Parking and rainforest entrance fees are included in the rate.

Saturday's tour is longer (approximately 1 hour) and more strenuous than Sunday – Friday. It's very important that you are able to comply with all of the tour restrictions, have a strong physical fitness level and are able to bring your knees up to your chest.

What to Wear & Bring:
You will get completely submerged in water and most likely muddy while on this tour.

-Comfortable hiking clothes and/or bathing suit
-Closed-toed shoes with good grip for hiking on wet surfaces, and that provide support (no crocs, sandals, water shoes or flip flops)
-Towel, change of clothes and dry shoes for after the tour
-Water bottle
-Cash (gratuities not included but appreciated)
-Cell phone on file (in the event that we need to contact you or you need to contact us prior to the excursion)
