We visit New York City!! - Sailing Turtle

After what was an incredible adventure coming up to Sandy hook, we anchored up at Sandy hook and jumped off for a weekend with family. It felt like forever ago that we left to go get our own sailboat, thinking we’d be bringing her back in a month, two tops. Well almost 6 months later, she was here and we were exhausted. After much needed family time in New Jersey, we jumped onto the Seastreak ferry and visited our old home, Manhattan aka The city. It was wonderful but surreal to be back to where we started as a couple and lived for so many years. We were a little worried because the NYC we left so long ago in the grips of the pandemic was a scary, quiet place. The city didn’t disappoint us though. She was vibrant again and filled with the hustle and bustle that we were used to.
