The BEST SNORKEL Spot in the ABACOS! – Sailing Turtle

As we get ready to celebrate our first New Years on the boat, we start to search for the perfect spot to bring in 2022. The search ends up more complicated than we thought! But in the process, we make a somewhat random stop that we assumed was just going to be a lunch stop and it ends up being our most fantastic snorkeling we’ve done in the Bahamas so far! Join us as we bring in 2022, our own way!

We are Dev (pronounced Dave) and Spandana (pronounced Spun-The-Nuh), a software engineer and developmental behavioral pediatrician, who gave up everything. Less than 6 months after learning how to sail, we bought a sailboat and jumped into full time cruising. Our Turtle is a 40 foot 1993 Caliber who has had 7 owners before us and has even been salvaged once. Join our adventure as we travel the world, collecting memories and barnacles!
