In this weeks episode we obviously hauled our boat assuming that if it Tropical Storm Gonzalo was upgraded into a hurricane, we would prepared and strapped down. The weather man wasn’t on top form this time and it turned into blue skies and a mild 10 knots of wind… a lot of fuss for nothing.
So we got down into some boat work we’d also thought we could tackle while we were hauled out… namely a replacement cutlass bearing and to put some antifouling on our prop.
While the boat was hauled, we added another item to the to do list after seeing how dirty the hull was and new antifouling was now in order.
A lucky coincidence a few days into our yard time lead to a nearby boat offloading their traveller track to us! So yet another project was added to our list and Adam turned a mild shade of ‘umpa lumpa’ in an attempt to make it fit our boat!
