Sailing to a tropical island in the middle of nowhere, using bottles of rum as currency, trading with the locals and living off of what we catch, days spent in powerade blue water, without another soul for miles around. These were the visions that we had when we first dreamt of Sailing the World. And after spending years fixing up our boat and saving enough cash, we had that exact experience. But what surprised us was that those experiences were just the tip of the iceberg, and to get there we’d have to overcome an insane number of challenges.
This is the second installment of our Recap series where we are telling our entire story from the very beginning over the course of 4 episodes.
