TheSailingChannel’s Kate Hopkins interviews Robin Martel, President of Fugawi, at the 2006 US Sailboat Show in Annapolis, MD. Fugawi sells GPS navigation software for use on PC computers, laptops, and PDAs. Fugawi Marine ENC allows you to navigate using many types of vector and raster charts including Navionics and NOAA. You can even use scans of your own paper charts. You can also transfer your route to leading chart plotters like Raymarine. Other options include enhanced AIS and a free plugl-in to use Google Earth Maps.
