AHOY - We're Ben, Tambi, & Molly - a trio of sailors who are creating a sailing vlog series! Our mission is to show the world that you can do VERY BIG things with a very small budget. The time is upon us to find our next cruising sailboat. We’ve got about 6 months until the next cruising season kicks off, so we need to track down the boat, buy it, and get it set up for cruising ASAP. We’ve got our work cut out for us and not a lot of time to get it done.
Here’s the general criteria that we’re using to find our next cruising sailboat:
– Max all-in budget of $50,000
– 2 fully enclosed cabins
– Monohull
– 40-45′ in length
– Encapsulated ballast keel
– Skeg hung rudder
– East coast location
– SMOKIN’ deal
– Kadey Krogen 38 is our top pick
