This anchorage was very unpleasant until the flies retired for the day. But we did enjoy seeing the whales, seals, eagles and other wildlife.

The winds at Baird Glacier kept us from sailing too close or anchoring at Scenery Cove as we had planned. In the end, we approached as close as we could and motored the 20 miles to Farragut Bay and another peaceful anchorage visited by eagles and whales. ...
