We had quite the search process in trying to find a paint that was going to work for us and our application on our boat, but we were able to find the perfect product and finally get the deck welded back on as well!

After building ourselves a Project Brupeg inspired wet sand blaster we put it to good use blasting our chain locker, but it wasn't a straight forward process and it involved us building some extra tools in order to get the job done!

After finalizing our chain locker redesign, we get to work on designing the plate our windlass is going to sit on. Due to material shortages we have to get a bit creative! Steel sailboats are quite the thing.

After cutting out our second hull plate, we get it fitted and we finally finish the welding on both plates, allowing us to move onto the next big project!

After cutting off the port side of the chain locker, we make some new ribs and get the plate ready to be welded back into the boat!

We get all of the metal we need to do our work on the boat and start on cutting some metal! We use the plasma cutter to get rid of the mystery pipe in the chain locker and subsequently end up with some flames inside in the process....

After deciding our best course of action is to move the boat, we deal with the craziest weather we have ever seen, along with some other problems that we honestly couldn't have invented if we tried. This was a seriously wild ride!
