After leaving Shelter Bay behind for real, I am now enjoying a cruiser's life at anchor in Puerto Lindo. There are still a couple of small projects that I am working on, but at least there is water all around me and I don't have any marina bills piling up....

Karl's bottom paint is finally finished and he is standing on the hard with his new black robe, ready to go back into the water, where he belongs. What a milestone! I can't believe it is really finally done.

After more than four weeks to take down the paint of Karl's botom, it took only two to put the first layer of etching primer on. It seems that everything went well and I am super happy. Cause only seven more coats and Karl is back in the water!

Big progress on the project list this week. I finally got Karl's holes welded. It was quite exciting and I am really happy that it is done.
I also started to use some paint remover to go down to bare aluminum so it will be easier to apply the etch primer....
