The 10th day after departure from the Nawiliwili, Kauai in the Hawaiian Islands. We encounter unexpected weather forcing us to beat into North East winds making very little progress.

Lumpy and confused seas make for a bouncy ride aboard Lealea but we are making good progress under deep reefed main sail and #3 jib. No fancy cooking today but we did manage hot meals.

In this video I was mostly just along for the ride while engineers tested some work they'd done on the engine. It was just nice to be out in good weather!
