This week we do the Haul out! We have the old paint sanded back, and have new bottom paint applied. Which takes longer than expected. We replace our zincs and hopefully we aren't out of the water too long before we can Splash again!

We leave Mill Bay and start heading North again when we run into a little snag. Our throttle lever wont go into gear. We Cant go forward or backward! We spend some time trying to fix it and limp to a near by anchorage until we can get his fixed....oh year ...
Now that quarantine is over its time to get back to exploring the Gulf islands. We find a very magical anchorage and visit the famous Butchart Gardens.

Now that we have arrived in Canada we have to spend 14 days Quarantined alone on our Sailboat. winds upwards of 20 knots blew directly into our anchorage and we attempted to rescue a boat that became beached in the blow.

We provision for a 14 day quarantine, and we cross the boarder from the US to Canada. Palle sails the boat into Canada but I have to cross at the land boarder to get Greco into Canada.

We find a good anchorage to ride out the storm as we continue our journey north to Canada. On our way to check out the Whale Museum in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island we got pulled over by the coast guard!
