The day we've been waiting for is FINALLY here! We have to address our last minute issues that popped up, and then we untie the dock lines and sail out of the PNW for good, embarking on our first ocean passage ever.
We find ourselves 2 days away from The Big Left Turn: leaving the Pacific Northwest to sail down the coast of the United States in our first offshore passage. And nothing (nothing) goes to plan.
After an amazing few days in Princess Louisa Inlet, we head back to Nanaimo, but things don't go exactly as planned with engine problems and inflow winds slowing us down.

The leak saga continues! We finally limp our way over to the haul out and put via on the hard, in the hopes that we can easily fix the leak and be back in the water the next day.
As our amazing time in Princess Louisa Inlet continues, we decide to hike to famous trapper's cabin trail and then further up the mountain into the beginning of the alpine- all from our sailboat!

Pretty much any boat owners worst nightmare: we find a salt water leak in the boat that requires immediate attention, and fixing it does *not* go to plan. At all.
We start our last adventure of 2021 sailing up Princess Louisa Inlet! Jervis Inlet blew us away with its amazing beauty on this incredibly sunny September day.
