Being locked down again we watch the launch of Nr.1 live online from our yearly Ameland retreat and see how they move our Nr.4 to the assembly hall.
This version of this episode includes world premiere footage I just received of the AST COAST 340 full car...
We return to La Grande Motte in the last week of October to see the progress on hulls nr. 1 to 5. Number 1 is planned to go in the water on November 10th. A couple of days later our #4 will take its place in the assembly hall.
I know it doesn't have sails ...
But if we have to be on a motor ship it might as well be this one!
The interior is a bit, how to say this politely, calvinistic and pre-modern-minimalistic but if our friends will go through with this that will be dealt wit...
We make a 500 km detour back home to visit Incidence Sails in La Grande Motte. Incidence is the main sailmaker for Outremer (and for a.o. Lagoon and FP btw) and we'll probably choose Incidence for all of our sails.
Marijke postponed her in-port training with the 4X until the last they of Outremer Week 2020 when there would be a lot more wind. Good to sea that we still have plenty to learn.
This is Part 2 of our passage from Panama to the Galapagos. Along the way we got the chance to haze our kids since they're not Shellbacks yet, like we are. Every ceremony is different, but we tried to make it fun and memorable. Not too many people get the ...
We've rented a studio in the center of La Grande Motte to be close to the production of our Outremer 55 hull#4. Of course we go over as much as we can, but this week there were a lot of seminars in the yearly Outremer week as well.

We have a quiet night in Enkhuizen, safely moored to the former Greatcircle. Lovely weather but not too much wind, as we continue to Hoorn and Volendam before heading back to Muiden.
In this episode we sail on the Rival from Loosdrecht over the river Vecht to Muiden and continue over the southern IJsselmeer towards Enkhuizen where we meet our former cat.
Short in between episode as we fly to Portugal and meet Seaheroes Ronald & Fleur on their L42. In the coming weeks we will go sailing on the Rival 34 again and attend the Outremer week in La Grande Motte, where we will be able to have a look at the bui...

Marijke got second thoughts about the rotating mast so we decide to dive in a little deeper to find out whether or not it's worth the additional investment and added complexity for our situation.
In the meantime we dusted off our Rival 34 from 1979 to prep...
It's decided! 2 days after we returned from our trip through France we reached an agreement with Outremer regarding the new Greatcircle, an Outremer 55.
Luckily we didn't have any surprises out of the buyers survey, so 1 week later we handed over the curr...
