Today we show you our process for planning a sailing passage, in this case to cross the notorious Bass Strait. We are losing patience slowly, being stuck here in Eden for over 3 weeks now but are still cautious as Catamaran is still new and unproven to us....
Last week we broke some of the rigging while attempting to cross the notorious Bass Straight, this week we replace the entire running rigging with new gear.
A big job but it feels good to now have a solid base.

Our current passage record of 176nm in 24hrs is under threat this week as we sail from Yamba 240nm south to Port Stephens. With a good wind forecast and the strong south flowing current it looked good for a possible 200nm 24hr run. Did we make it?
Also, we...
