In this Episode Zola gets left behind as I join friends on their 50ft lagoon in the Exumas to do some commercial fishing. This is by far the craziest spear fishing I’ve done yet!! Also, stay tuned for end for some epic shark diving.
Huge shout out to @p...
We sail from Fakarava to the neighbouring atol of Toau to see it's beauty and improve the angle and distance towards Tahiti. Also testing whether the emergency repairs on Inky are sufficient for the 220 miles crossing.
This week we are inspecting and removing our corroded sail drives and the engines, and staring in on other projects while we wait for the new sail drives to arrive.

It's a 2 day sail from Fatu Hiva in the Marquesas to the first atol we are going to visit in the Tuamotus, Raroia. Two completely different worlds going from mountains, hiking and waterfalls to beaches, palm trees and sharks.
After exploring Nuku Hiva we sail to the next island Ua Pou with its remarkable peaks. The whole bay seems completely full of Outremers with Inky, Jams, Endless, Ningyo, Vitia, Akaroa and PiedraLibre all next to each other on a stern anchor

Yes! We're going to make it and catch up with the rest of the fleet. Will we even get to the Galapagos before their planned departure for the Marquesas?
We managed to catched to catch up with the rest of the GLYWO fleet just before the departure to the Marquesas. No time to visit the islands, so let's look back at our earlier stay in 2013.
The Outremer technical team has arrived on Aruba and all the new parts are flown in in an unbelievable attempt to enable us to catch up with the rest of the fleet again.

Stuck on Aruba we try to make the best of it while trying to find a solution to repair the boat and, if possible, continue our world tour with the Grand Large World Odyssey.
Our favourite pirate James comes over to the damaged Greatcircle record a podcast resulting in a "make a lot of noise to forget your sorrows" session where Marijke finally gets to use her guitar again.
Anchored in front of Eagle Beach on the west coast of Aruba, we are hit by a 67 ton 2-master. Not sure whether we can continue our world tour.
Something AWESOME is coming!
