The weather has finally broken and winds, although not perfect, are good enough to allow us to depart Nawiliwili Harbor at Lihue, Kauai for Sitka, AK. We will not stop in Hanalei as most cruisers do.

We are settling in for the winter in Petersburg, Alaska's North Harbor where amenities, while primitive, are adequate for our needs. 30amp electric, water, showers, laundry and internet access are all available in this small town of 3000 souls.
