Davy and I (Erica) have recently upgraded to a hurricane damaged catamaran! This new chapter is going to push us in very different ways. From repairing fibreglass, fixing electronics, cleaning up the cosmetics and many many more jobs, this new phase of our adventure is going to be very exciting. We are looking forward to getting Barefoot 2.0 up to cruising standards! In this weeks episode of Barefoot Sail and Dive, Davy works on restoring the second fibreglass rudder. We’ve also had a lot of rain this week so it has made doing some of the bigger projects more difficult.
Having a catamaran is fantastic as it makes a little workshop underneath it. Boats always have problems and this week our fresh water pump stopped working all of a sudden. Something always breaks! Turning off the water is a challenge as you have to climb into the tiny storage lockers, but it makes for a bit of fun! That is one of the troubles with living in a tiny house!
