In 2026, British solo sailor Richard 'Rick' Brocklesby is navigating the English East Coast aboard his Colvic Countess 28, Ketty 11. Underway on a 2,100 NM solo UK circumnavigation, he is raising funds and awareness for Parkinson's UK following a close friend's diagnosis. Sailing south from Hartlepool toward Grimsby on his final leg to Plymouth, the channel documents raw coastal seamanship, tidal navigation, and DIY diesel repairs.
