A bridge near Savannah, GA is closed for repairs, so we have to go around it! This means we need to sail 10 miles to the coast and sail the ocean to the next inlet past the bridge. There is a huge tide in Georgia so we need to pay close attention to the time and match our departure and approaches with clockwork precision so we can use the current to push us instead of fighting the mighty Savannah River.
